Mazda Car Badge
Black & White 365 5/365

Hello!

My last few days of leave from work are turning out to be rather busier than expected.

Friday sees me at two different medical places for two very different reasons. One is a booster shot and one, well, isn’t a booster shot. I also need to get into the city. So much for taking it easy.

Then on Saturday, I’ve got a wedding meeting (and makeup trial) and I’m photographing an event in the evening. Rest assured I’ll be masked up and using a long lens! So much for no heavy lifting!

Entry number 5 in the 365 Black & White Challenge is from right outside my front door.

The thing I really enjoy about black and white photography is how it makes me change the way I see the world. No longer looking for pleasing colour combinations, I’m looking more at the light, and contrast. The in-camera preview screen is set to monochrome and I enjoy editing a whole lot more. Black and white also provides for more impactful images of simple subjects, like today’s photograph.

Each photograph in the 365 Black & White Challenge is made available as a single limited edition print. If you are interested, click here to purchase this print

Have a great day and I’ll see you in the next post.

Richard
