I do love new toys. This ring light arrived last night but I didn’t get to play with it until tonight. It’s going to be fun to use with close-up portraits. I only wish it fit around my favourite portrait lens! Might have to see if I can find an adaptor.
I had a headshot session tonight in my home studio, affectionately known as “The Garage”. We got a great range of photographs from formal to less formal, semi-formal, and any other variation of “formal” you can think of. Even a few amusing ones made it to the selects!
Listening to some old episodes of The Candid Frame podcast today whilst working at my day job. Great interviews with photographers like Joe McNally, Zack Arias, and the like. Their down-to-earth nature (and incredible talent) are always inspiring to listen to.
