“I get locked down, but I get up again!” – Sung to the tune of Chumbawumba’s Tupthumping.
Here in Melbourne, we are about to embark on Lockdown #6. The only disheartening thing is how I had no reaction to the news at all. I can perform 98% of my job from home, and to be honest, more productively as I have a larger monitor for all the windows I need open and noise-cancelling headphones I can wear.
The only part of lockdown that bothers me is the inability to go to get my pizza (from my preferred vendor) and band rehearsals. We booked a 30th birthday gig for October 1 today and hopefully, it will all go ahead.
Still posting images daily which is great, and that is much easier to do during lockdown!
