Close up portrait of a teddy bear.

Hello!

I’m still playing around with the new 18″ ring light. This time I’ve grabbed the first soft toy I ever purchased for my daughter.

I’m now interested in seeing if a series of soft toy portraits would be fun to do.

Saying this reminds me of my all-time favourite photograph by Joe McNally.

Kermit the frog, a muppet, hugs a directors chair with the name Jim Henson on the back.

This photograph was taken after the death of the creator of the Muppets, Jim Henson. It appeared on the cover of Time magazine and to this day, is one of my favourite photographs.

It’s a true testament to the teamwork between the Muppet Workshop puppeteers and the photographer that made this photograph, of let’s face it, an inanimate object, hit you with all the feels.

That’s it for now. Talk to you soon. Stay safe.

Richard
