Hello!
Here’s another photo from the Cup Day session with my brother for some promo images. He’s put his promo video together and the talented bugger has done a great job.
It’s going to be a big weekend for the Average Suburban Dad household.
Today, M, R & the dog have already left to cross the Metro/Regional “Ring O Steel” for destinations north and may actually have arrived at the time of writing. I’ll be joining them tonight after work (and a work dinner).
The reason for the visit to the north is that M & I are photographing a wedding tomorrow. We wouldn’t normally take two cars north but as I start shooting at nine and M starts just before lunch, it made sense. It also allowed me to attend the dinner.
This will be the first time R has seen her “Nanna C” & “Poppy” in the flesh for a very long time. She has been talking to them daily via Facebook video and boy do they have the patience of the Gods when it comes to her calls! Her mounting excitement at actually being able to give them a hug has been a joy to watch and I’m amazed she even fell asleep last night, to be honest!
After the wedding, I drive back north to the parentals and R and M has to drive back home as she has a shoot on Sunday morning. I hope she takes advantage of the house to herself and sleeps for at least 10 hours.
Then Sunday, after lunch I have been told, R, the dog, and I drive home to reunite with M.
I’m exhausted just writing all that.
In other news, I am pleased to report I have negotiated with my boss at work that I am allowed to wear a Christmas t-shirt once per week until December starts. Then it’s a daily occurrence. With three new Christmas T-shirts arriving this week, I’m ready to bust them out.
Have a great weekend and I’ll see you in the next post.
