Hello!

One of the long-standing traditions of this blog is that on a Monday, I grab the oldest photograph from my Candidates Folder and publish it. If, when the time comes I no longer want to publish that photograph, it gets deleted and I grab the next eldest, etc. Some may find the deleting aspect a bit harsh, but if it’s not good enough for the blog, it’s not good enough to hold on to.

I deleted three photographs, never to be seen again, before landing on this one.

Another Monday has forced its way into our hearts and minds. Now that I’m back in the office and not working seven days per week, I do have to confirm what day of the week it is when I wake up. Sometimes I’m ready to get up and go to work only to find it’s a Saturday or checking my phone to see what day it is, only to find its a Monday and I have to get up.

Unlike most of the free world, Mondays do not bring a feeling of dread into my world.  In fact, in many ways, Mondays are my favourite day.

Sure there’s work to get through … but then there is pizza at my favourite establishment and then band practice. I really must expound more on the awesomness of my best friend and the fact that because of him, we do not have to setup and packdown our gear each week. And the fact that we can practice as much as we want to really. Having access to your own fully custom built acoustically sweet rehearsal room with heating, lights, cooling and as of last week A BAR FRIDGE, is a really good thing. And having keys to the factory that holds this marvel of musical wonderfulness, is even better.

Thanks as always to my loyal readers! I appreciate your attention and time.

I’ll see you in the next post!

Richard
