Hello!

Entry number 15 in the 365 Black & White Challenge is a photograph from a trip to the beach this morning.

I’m sitting here writing this at a clean desk. That is a miracle in itself. It’s been bugging me for a while and I’ve noticed the effect that it was having on my work at my desk. I was looking for any excuse to move away.

Today I had to move my Phillips 32″ 4k monitor to see if it would fit in the bag I was going to buy for it. I took the opportunity to strip the desk down, wipe it down and build it up piece by piece removing anything that wasn’t essential.

The theme at the moment seems to be back to decluttering. There are quite a few things of mine I would love to get rid of. Apparently, my daughter is not ever to be included on that list. With that in mind, I’ll need to focus on some other things instead.

When the new camera finally arrives I’ll be dropping down from four cameras to two as part of the funding includes trade-ins. That counts as decluttering right? I’m also going to be considering my lens collection as I’d like to acquire some new Nikon glass.

I wonder if I can sell my barely abused liver?

On a more positive note, I had my follow-up appointment to get my eyes properly photographed for a thorough checkup. First, they had to apply some pupil dilating drops to allow them to really get in there and examine my retina. I’m happy to report (take that Dr S!) that my eyes are in perfect health. My prescription hasn’t changed in three years which is great as I regularly use three pairs and those things are not cheap!

I’m now getting a little grumpy as my MacBookPro has restarted four times during the writing of this post! It’s not doing it at work which is good, but still very annoying when it happens at home. With this in mind, I’m going to sign off and see if I can figure out what’s happening.

Have a great day and I’ll see you in the next post.

Richard
