Hello!

Entry number 123 for the 2022 365 Black & White Challenge is a photo from the “Get Rhythm” Johnny Cash and June Carter show I was hired to shoot.

Get Rhythm
2022 365 Black & White Challenge – 123/365

Tuesday

Just over a week into the new job and although I’m loving it, there are some changes I’m having to deal with.

At my previous job, I had keys to the building and would regularly arrive 90 minutes before I started and write blog posts and edit photos etc.

I don’t have that luxury and with a longer commute, I have no time to write or to edit photos. I haven’t even looked at the roller derby photos I took on Sunday night yet.  And I’m the guy who usually had them published on the same day!

Even now, I’m writing this on my iPhone in the car park waiting for the office to open with no idea when I’ll have the opportunity to find a photo to use let alone publish it.

Let me interrupt the flow to bring you a message from our sponsor, Me! Did you love the photo? Each photograph in the 2022 365 Black & White Challenge is made available as a single signed limited edition print. If you are interested, you can purchase the print at the Shop for only $36.50 (including free postage to anywhere in the world). If it’s not there then someone beat you to it! I thank you for your support of my photography and this website.

In order to keep up the demanding daily posting schedule (me and my over ambitious stupid ideas) I am really going to have to write multiple posts a day on the weekends and Wednesdays.

Had a fun band practice last night. Our lead vocalist and guitarist were away so my brother filled in and it was just what everyone needed. Rehearsals have been hard to come by lately with other gigs and COVID getting in the way so the chance to get most of us together and play was too good an opportunity to miss. My brother is back again next week which is always fun.

If you’ve made it this far, thank you for your time and your attention! I will see tomorrow you for the next post.

Richard
