#226 – April 23, 2022 (113/365)

I’m having to draw on my archives whilst being in the hot zone. I hope you all understand.

I’m also posting this photo as I’m sad about not being at the roller derby today.

Friday 

Isolation sucks.

To start with, we lost three of four days of the Easter long weekend to isolation for my wife’s positive result. And it’s not like it was okay because we were in it together as we were at opposite ends of the house. And then when my positive result came through on Tuesday, that knocked me out for seven days (from Tuesday).

This means I’ve had to reschedule one shoot, I miss out on a day’s worth of roller derby shooting including watching my wife play her first inter-league bout in 902 days! I miss out on catching up with my father, extended family and son for my dad’s birthday get-together. I miss out on going into the City on Anzac Day to take portraits of the amazing veterans and I miss a rehearsal with my band.
