Hello!
Entry number 120 for the 2022 365 Black & White Challenge is a photo from my trip to Melbourne to see Hamilton.

Saturday
Sorry to those people who have already visited the website this morning looking to read my latest thoughts on the world. My change in job means a different morning routine, making it impossible to write my posts (for publication the following day) first thing in the morning. This means I’m writing them at night which is difficult as I’m often brain dead from the day plus the desire and need to spend time with my family.
So, I’m going to have to try to double up writing on Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays (I only have to work 5 hours on a Wednesday) to start building a buffer for nights when I simply can’t write.
I’ve finished my first in-office week of the new job and am looking forward to a restful weekend … Except we have not got a restful weekend ahead of us. Both my wife and I have clients to photograph, my daughter has three activities to which to be delivered and then there’s a roller-derby game day to skate in and shoot (I’m shooting, my wife is skating).
Let me interrupt the flow to bring you a message from our sponsor, Me! Did you love the photo? Each photograph in the 2022 365 Black & White Challenge is made available as a single signed limited edition print. If you are interested, you can purchase the print at the Shop for only $36.50 (including free postage to anywhere in the world). If it’s not there then someone beat you to it! I thank you for your support of my photography and this website.
On top of the weekend plans, I need to go and buy a monopod for an event shoot I have coming up which will be shot in nearly dark conditions (except for a few lights). This is annoying as I should have one at home somewhere but up to now, I haven’t been able to locate it. So off to the shops I go to at some point today.
I hope your weekends are what you want them to be and if you could get in some rest for me, I’d really appreciate it. Almost makes me long for lockdown again … almost.
If you’ve made it this far, thank you for your time and your attention! I will see tomorrow you for the next post.
