Hello!

Entry number 89 for the 2022 365 Black & White Challenge is from a walk around an industrial area.

2022 365 Black & White Challenge – 89/365

Tuesday 7 am

The interview I did for TimeOut magazine was published yesterday and can be found here. I’m mentioned towards the end of the active and the photo that you’ve seen on this blog is included.

One thing that struck me with the article was that although I am a huge fan, I’m in no way a truly obsessed hardcore Hamilton fan. Sure, I saw it three times in two days in Sydney and I have tickets to four shows in Melbourne (see down the bottom of the page for the countdowns), but there were people interviewed who saw it 34 times in Sydney including seven times in the shows last week!

Makes me feel a little better if I’m to be completely honest.

Tough rehearsal last night, we were all fatigued for some reason or another and to me, it showed in our cohesiveness. We just weren’t as tight as we normally are. We do have our first gig (in this configuration of people) although it isn’t until March 2023. But looking forward to playing under live performance pressure with this group. That will be an interesting day as it’s a wedding, which I am photographing as well. I’ll sleep well that night.

Combine the rehearsal with very little sleep last night and you can imagine my frame of mind. Might be hitting the coffee van when it comes past today!

Let me interrupt the flow to bring you a message from our sponsor, Me! Did you love the photo? Each photograph in the 2022 365 Black & White Challenge is made available as a single signed limited edition print. If you are interested, you can purchase the print at the Shop for only $36.50 (including free postage to anywhere in the world). If it’s not there then someone beat you to it! I thank you for your support of my photography and this website.

Just a quick one today as I have a mountain of work to complete in the next couple of weeks.

If you’ve made it this far, thank you for your time and your attention! I will see tomorrow you for the next post.

Richard
