Hello!

Entry number 17 in the 365 Black & White Challenge is a photograph from a post-wedding bridal portrait session. This is where a bride comes and has a range of contemporary portraits taken without the time pressures of the actual wedding day.

I’m surprised I forgot to mention it in yesterday’s post but I sold my first 365 Day Black & White Challenge Limited Edition print on Saturday night! Huzzah!

Sorry, it felt like a “Huzzah!” kind of moment.

Thank you very much to the purchaser (who will remain anonymous) for your support of the challenge and my photography. They purchased photo number 2/365, a photograph taken in a friend’s front garden after enjoying a pizza party with them. A coincidence is that I was at their house having the pizza party because my favourite pizza place was going on a two-week break the following day. And today, they will have reopened!

OK. So that only excites me, but you’re here to read about my hopes, dreams and pizza addiction right?

Thank you very much again for the purchase and thanks again for your support. Your limited edition print is printed, matted, sign, numbered and ready to be posted tomorrow. This means you should have it in your hands by April the way the post is currently running.

A print is ready to be posted.

If you have seen within this website other photographs you have loved and would like to hang or display in your home, I can add them to the store as requested. They will be available in 4″ x 6″ (in an 8″ x 10″ matte) or 8″ x 12″ (in an 11″ x 14″ matte) including free postage anywhere in the world. The matte will be signed and dated.

Now that the sales pitch is over (sorry about that), I can focus on what’s happening. The Australian Open is back and I for one do enjoy being an armchair supporter of the game. I know there’s been some bad press around the whole Novax saga but I’m not letting that get in the way of pretty much the only sport I sit and watch besides Roller Derby. And if the Australian Open wants to increase the difficulty of the game by having the participants skate whilst playing, I’m all for it.

I have a ticket for Margaret Court Arena on Wednesday night which I’m looking forward to. The action starts at 7 pm which gives me two hours to eat and find some photo opportunities for the blog!

Have a great day and I’ll see you in the next post.

Richard
