Hello!

Entry number 72 for the 2022 365 Black & White Challenge is a photograph that I didn’t take. But as I needed it (see post below), and it’s my website, I thought I could still use it.

2022 365 Black & White Challenge – 71/365

The PHOTOGRAPH:

My wife took this photo at my request. As is our thing when we need a photo taken, the other person takes the shot and then hands over the card so we can edit it as we need.

Yes, our t-shirts match.

PS: Did you love the photo? Each photograph in the 2022 365 Black & White Challenge is made available as a single signed limited edition print. If you are interested, click here to purchase this print for only $36.50. I thank you for your support of my photography and this website.

The BLOG:

I was “interviewed” on Thursday for the Melbourne edition of TimeOut magazine, a free, quarterly magazine. Of course, now I’ve mentioned in advance the article won’t run for some reason, but the process was fun.

I wrote “interview” in quotation marks because the questions were sent via email (at my request). This gave me the chance to think about my responses, write them down, leave them for an hour and then come back and rip out off the superfluous crap. Hopefully, this leads to me sounding more intelligent than I actually … am? … is? … are? Whatever.

The topic, if not obvious was Hamilton, as it starts in Melbourne this coming week. They wanted to take to a Melbournite who had flown to Sydney to see the show even knowing the show was coming to Melbourne. As I saw it in Sydney three times in two days, and knowing this, the editorial director contacted me and asked for an interview.

I got to nerd out a little in response to why the show resonates so much, so I’m expecting that to be shortened if it makes it at all.

The photo above is in response to a request, asking for something of me in Hamilton merch. I mentioned in the interview that my daughter knows all the words and has her seat booked in Melbourne, so I included her in the photo too. In our matching t-shirts.

I’ll know next week whether I made the cut and will let you all know.

And thank you to the lovely lady for taking the photo and doing her usual great job.

Thanks as always for reading. I really appreciate your time and attention. If you like what I and or/how I write and you have not already done so, please consider joining the Facebook Group.

Have a great day and I look forward to seeing you in the next post.
