Entry number 79 for the 2022 365 Black & White Challenge is a photograph from a recent visit with the family to the Moonlit Sanctuary in Pearcedale.

A wallaby.
2022 365 Black & White Challenge – 79/365

I treat animal photography the same as regular human photography. Aim the focus to the eyes and follow the sightline.

One of my favourite photography quotes is from Robert Capa, “If your photos aren’t good enough, you aren’t close enough.” I often paraphrase this as “Get close, and if that doesn’t work, get closer.”

But, as always, it’s always the eyes.
