Last night was the first time I'd played drums in quite a while.

The therapy band (as I call it) ended mid last year, but still accepts gigs if and when they arise. Our format is to gather for a rehearsal a short time before the performance to run through as much as we can and rely on the fact we've been playing together a long time to get us through the rest.

All in all, we had a fun night. We weren't as tight as we'd like to be, but we all acknowledge that it's been a while. The wedding we are playing at looks to be a fun crowd and the whole thing is being recorded both audio and video for future marketing purposes.

It was great to be behind the drums again as I've spent the majority of the last six months behind a bass guitar, which I love to do.

I'm cutting this short as I have to go and pick up my daughter from the skate rink (her mother is there for training) plus I'm a little drained for a few reasons. And as much as I'd like to continue to clack away on my new Mac OS mechanical keyboard, I have to go.

So up to the server you go little post, be free!

Thanks, as always for your time and attention, I really appreciate it.
